10/20/2009 - STUDIO UPDATE -  We are in the studio working on our followup album to 'Lines for the Living'. Drums, Rhythm Guitars and Bass are almost done, then more guitars and vocals. The record is sounding excellent. We've been working on these new tracks for about 6 months, and the end is in sight. The record is being tracked at Skies Falls Studio in Kenosha, WI. We're expecting to have the record done in about 2 months after which time we'll be playing regularly again. Stay tuned.

12/6/08 - Hey guys we're back and ready as ever. We have some big and exciting news for you. Over the past few months we went through a transition of two new members. We're very excited to introduce to you our new Drummer Ted Butch and Bassist Joe Alba that have joined Shattered Red.

We've been hard at work writing new material and polishing old ones. Our plan is to hit the studio by spring with more energy, dynamics, and power than ever. We are in the process of setting up a string of dates to showcase our new songs and members. So please join us in welcoming Ted and Joe and thank you all for your continued support and commitment to us! We'll see you all very soon.

5/17/08 - Hello everyone, it's been awhile since we've posted. You may have noticed we haven't been playing very much lately. We have 17 tracks in the preproduction stage that are receiving finishing touches before we enter the studio. Also, Marc is no longer drumming with the band. The split was completely mutual, and we're all still friends. We thank him for his hard work over the past couple years and wish him the best. This means we're currently auditioning drummers! 12/14/07 - We have a great show coming up with Third Eye, an excellent Tool tribute band. The show kicks off at 8pm in Milwaukee, WI at the Miramar Theater. This show is ALL AGES, tickets are 10 bucks at the door.  See you all there! PS- Writing is going well, we're in the process of getting vocals down on the new demos. We will be playing a new song at the Miramar show!

11/27/07 - So, I know we've disappeared lately. It's not because we've been playing too many video games or because we don't miss all of you, but rather, because we've been writing, and recently demoed new songs here in Milwaukee, WI. Songs are in the pre-production process and we're very excited to finally be following up 2005's 'Lines for the Living.' But this weekend, we're taking a break from all of that.

This weekend we're doing a special 3 day run with Heart Set Self Destruct from IL and Black Days Down from MN. Here's the details you'll need:

5/07/07 - Thanks to all the bands and people that rocked out with us over the past couple weeks! We're now playing a couple new songs at shows so be sure to check them out. We should have new t-shirts soon,  we just sold out of our first style this weekend. Finally, we received word that the band 'Five for Fighting' has teamed up with Autism Speaks to donate $0.49 to the Autism Awareness campaign every time their video is viewed. Their aiming for 10,000 hits, but I think we could help them top that. Check it out. See you out there!

3/11/07 - We've added 2 shows for this coming weekend, both in the central WI area, including a special St. Patty's show Saturday night. Check em out!

2/22/07 - Welcome to our new website! It was awhile in the making, so we're glad to have it done. Take a look around the site and make yourself at home, we've added a lot more features. Shows have been going very well, and we've also started writing some new material. Music is done for about 5 songs. 

Onto other news, 'Brad's Song' (not 'At the Edge' as previously reported) has been featured in the indie horror flick, 'Harvest', in the party scene.  You can grab both songs off of our debut record, 'The Lines for the Living' through any of the links to your left.
